A New Year in Jesus

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” -John 8:12

As we all have welcomed in the new year with all our resolutions and hopes. Let us remember to put the things that have happened in 2018 are in the past. We cannot change anything but we can learn and grow. The Lord has been with us all in our walks with each situation we have gone through and has always been by our side helping and guiding. No matter how 2018 turned out for you, you have been given a new year to make a difference or to improve on last year.

Jesus has said He is our light and when we walk with Him we will always be in His light. Out of all your resolutions decide this year to be the year to make your number one resolution to be active for Jesus. Be a light for those around you and share Jesus to everyone. Make a new resolution to spend more time with Jesus each day in prayer and in devotions. Pray for your family, your government and your church, dare to ask Jesus for more in your life and go to Him as your friend as you would your friends on this earth. When we say 'Your will be done' always remember that Jesus has one will and that is salvation for everyone. Strengthen your walk with Jesus in your words and actions and do your part to help fulfill God's will. Jesus is eagerly waiting to come take us home with Him and I believe each year we are closer to that time.

As 2019 unfolds in each of our lives may we all be blessed and find the grace of God in each of our hearts and always remember that no matter what we are going through God's got this. Happy New Year to each of my readers and remember, 'When you've reached the end of your rope. Reach up and touch the hem of His garment.'
