Isaiah 33:6, “And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge…”
John 10:10, “…I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

We are a week away from Christmas and I hope you have found time for decorating, caroling, maybe taking a drive to see the lights everywhere, and maybe you’ve already had parties and celebrated in your own church. But my greatest hope is that you have found time to renew your walk with God, maybe gain a deeper understanding of the reason we celebrate this year. Most importantly I hope you feel the love Jesus has for you and that you have been blessed with His presence in your heart and lives.
We just had a deep blog on Christmas, and the love God and Jesus have for us, and I pray you were blessed, maybe even learned a few new ways to look at Christmas. So, in the spirit of Christmas and the love of our Savior, this week were going to have a little fun with our study remembering that among celebrating we should always keep Jesus at the center.
I know most of us don’t really believe in Santa, but he still is at the center of the Christmas holiday, today let’s put Jesus in the center of our hearts as He truly is better than the pretend guy we like to talk about this time of year.
-- Santa lives at the North Pole ...Jesus is everywhere- Matthew 28:20, Jeremiah 23:24
--Santa rides in a sleigh ...Jesus rides on the wind and walks on the water- Matthew 8:26, Mark 14:22-33
--Santa comes but once a year. Jesus is an ever-present help- Psalm 46:1, Hebrews 4:14-16
--Santa fills your stockings with goodies ...Jesus supplies all your needs- Romans 8:32, Philippians 4:19
--Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ...Jesus stands at your door and knocks, and enters your heart- Revelation 3:20
--You have to wait in line to see Santa ...Jesus is as close as the mention of His name- Matthew 18:20, James 4:8
--Santa lets you sit on his lap ...Jesus lets you rest in His Arms- Psalm 23:2-3, Psalm 62:1-2
--Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi, little boy or girl, what's your name?"... Jesus knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our history and future, and He even knows our hearts and how many hairs are on our heads- Isaiah 43:1, John 10:14
--Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ...JESUS has a heart full of love, grace, mercy and forgiveness- John 13:34, 1 John 1:9
--All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ...JESUS says, "Cast your cares on me for I care for you."-
2 Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 55:22
--Santa may make you chuckle but ...JESUS gives you joy that is your strength-
Isaiah 40:29, 2 Corinthians 12:9
-- Santa puts gifts under your tree ...JESUS became our gift and died on the tree, For you and me- Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:15
It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas, JESUS is still the reason for the season. Yes, JESUS is better, He is even better than Santa Claus. Merry CHRISTmas
Now some fun 😊
