" Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

Wouldn’t it be great every time we called our children they’d come right away and be happy to see us? We raised our kids to come when they were called and for awhile they would. Now with three teenagers we get a “what” coming from the direction they are in. They eventually come but with little enthusiasm. How about your pets? I don’t know about yours, but my sweet little puppy comes when she wants to not always when we call.
Isn’t it nice to have a promise from God that He hears your prayers EVERYTIME you call. He will never ignore you or come with little excitement. He actually looks forward to hearing from you and eagerly greets you when you talk to Him. There is no time of day He won’t be available, even in the middle of the night.
Just as God hears our prayers anytime we call, we too need to be listening for His voice. He will speak with us, share with us, even direct our paths. He doesn’t speak in a physical voice that we are used to, but when He wants to talk we are in tune to His voice we will hear Him. Eagerly talk to our Lord and look for the blessings He has for you.
