As we read through our Bibles we can find my truths God has for us to always remember.
Also, the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain. God can see what is in people’s hearts. And he knows what is in the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit speaks to God for his people in the way God wants. -Romans 8:26-27
There are times when speaking can be difficult. The words don't come out right, you can't get across what you're trying to say, or you forgot what you wanted to say. Sometimes the right words come at the wrong time well after you've talked to a person. Sometimes in our minds we sound eloquent but once the words are uttered we can feel rather foolish and uneducated. Even Moses told the Lord he wasn't good with words and big confrontations. In God's goodness He sent along Aaron to do the speaking.
We are encouraged to pray because it's our open link to Jesus. But praying or even talking with our Lord might be hard because He is Lord. We feel we might not get the words out right or it might be hard to let Him know what we're thinking because we end up tongue tied. We might feel our words would say we're trying too hard or we might ask for too many things and forget to think of others in our conversations and requests. This is a time where speaking in difficult.
But we can find assurance because we will not be alone in our prayers. We don't always have to remember verbatim what we need to ask for, what or who we need to pray for or that we're not praising God enough. We can relax because just like God sent Aaron to help Moses, He has someone translating our words. The Holy Spirit speaks on our behalf in front of our King of Kings. The Holy Spirit will know exactly what we mean and help by interceding for us. Don't shy away from speaking or praying because we are never alone and we will always have help. Trust in God's promise and begin your special time with God today.
