The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
We fight battles daily, why, because Satan is out there seeking to destroy us hoping we join him against Jesus. So problems come our way from fights with our spouse of children. Fights with coworkers or the boss. Fights over bills or finances. Not all fights are verbal or fist punching physical but we still find ourselves in the midst of stress and frustrations. We battle things out in our minds, we find ourselves on an up and down roller coaster of emotions. Anything that can be used to pull us away from focusing on Jesus Satan will use.
Our only hope is what has been promised to us from scripture. Just like Moses was told, we need to remain calm because our Lord will fight for you and He will fight for me. Just like David and a stone that took down a giant. Joshua marched around stone walls and they came crumbling down, Peter and Silas sang in jail and the chains were broken. If God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31).
No matter what form the battle comes in, remember it is Satan the lead trying to tear us down. When those times come you only need to remember one phrase "Get thee behind me Satan (Matthew 16:23)" "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15)!"
Jesus will FIGHT for you!!!
