My God Still...

“I the Lord do not change. So you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.” -Malachi 3:6

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. From the beginning of time He hasn’t changed, and we know beyond a shadow of a doubt we can count on Him.

God still speaks- Be it from a burning bush to the small winds. Through others and if He had to, even through an animal. God still talks to us: Hebrews 12:25

God still heals- He healed people in Old Testament days, sent Jesus to heal while on this earth and still heals when we go to Him today: Exodus 15:26

God still comforts- He comforted Hannah and gave her Samuel, He comforted those who needed a shoulder to cry on and today He still comforts, offering the same shoulder we can cry on: Job 5:11

God still provides- The Israelite's received manna from Heaven, Elisha got food from the ravens while in hiding. Jesus fed 5,000 with only a handful of bread and fish. Today you may have food, a home, clothes, a job, because God is still providing for those who ask: Matthew 6:24-25

God still creates- He created an awesome world, He created life, and today He is still creating. From babies born among humankind and animals, to life among the trees and plants with each new bud. Even the beautiful painted skies of sunsets and sunrises: Isaiah 42:5

God still restores- We fall, we fail, we find our way back to God and each time He promises to restore us to our promised salvation: Isaiah 61:7

God still redeems- We stumble, and we sometimes do wrong. Yet God will forgive when we go to Him, just as He has since Adam and Eve: Ephesians 1:7

God still manifests- God is with us in everything. He walked with Adam and Eve, sent Jesus to walk among us and then gave us the Holy Spirit to help us. God is with us even to the end: Acts 1:8

God is I AM not “I was”- Isaiah 44:24
